Singapore Budget

Whether you're preparing for the trip of a lifetime, backpacking with friends, or just on a short vacation, read this budget breakdown to plan for your trip to Singapore.

3 Days

1 Cities Stayed in

(Singapore)

385CAD per day

*Please note all costs are the total for two adults and one baby.

Transportation: 608CAD

You'll notice that transportation for only three days is crazy high, and this is just because of flights! Transportation itself was relatively affordable since public transit is so well established, you can even tap your credit card on the system instead of purchasing a ticket. However, if you do take Uber here, except western rates!

Food & Drinks: 168CAD

If you have cash, then you can expect to find lots of amazing street food and food market deals. However, if you're paying with your card because you're only there a few days, expect to pay a lot more.

Accommodations: 293CAD

After flights, this is where you can expect to pay the most for your time in Singapore. You won't find 50$ villas with pools here, instead expect to pay at least 100$ a night for even the most budget and basic of hotels.

Make sure to pick accommodations near a metro or bus line!

Attractions & Activities: 108CAD

We did splurge a bit on activities here, given it was such a short visit. Gardens by the Bay itself is free to enter and enjoy many parts. However, we chose to purchase tickets to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.

Extras: 9CAD

The one extra fee you'll always see on my budgets is a keychain. Unfortunately, some places like here it's a much more costly souvenir than in others.

Must See/Do:

  • Little India

  • Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

  • Gardens by the Bay

    • Super Trees Light Show

    • Flower Dome

    • Cloud Forest

  • The Jewel
